These 2 side tables in shabby chic were actually very ugly before I refinished them to give them a shabby chic look. How nice are they now? It is amazing what you can do with the right finish.

I found this table on Craigslist; someone wanted to get rid of it and therefor it was very cheap. But it looked pretty ugly too. I decided to refinish it mahogany brown which has some reddish hints in it. The table legs are nicely carved and the new finish made them really stand out.

This side table or night stand was originally dark brown but the style was perfect to refinish in shabby chic. It is slightly distressed and sealed. The most refinished furniture you buy on flea markets or from someone who is refinishing furniture aside, is not sealed. In such a case the paint will come off sooner or later.
If you have a piece of furniture which is old and ugly, call me. If the wood is still good we can change it to a nice piece.

I found this candle holder at a garage sales and it was cheap and bad looking. This is what I am looking for. I used antique gold for the finish; first I primed it before I brushed on the golden acrylic water based paint. It’s very simple to do. So why throw things away when you can make something new out of them?
