Refinished Wall Candle Holder

I found this candle holder at a garage sales and it was cheap and bad looking. This is what I am looking for. I used antique gold for the finish; first I primed it before I brushed on the golden acrylic water based paint. It’s very simple to do. So why throw things away when you can make something new out of them?

Hand Painted Flowers Patio Table

The patio tables are made out of travertine, and I was asked to hand paint them with romantic, old fashioned flowers as you can see on furniture. After painting them I distressed them a bit to make them look antique.

Pink Bed with roses

A girl’s dream became true!

The bed was from a garage sale and was painted in a cottage white. After sanding it a bit, I distressed it, sanded down the edges as underneath the wood was stained dark brown.

Afterwards I added a mix of pink and glaze on it and painted the roses.

It’s a great idea if you have n older bed but don’t want to purchase a new one.

Call me if you have a piece of furniture you don’t like anymore. It’s worth to refinish it, and in most cases cheaper!

Unique Antique Shabby Chic Cabinet

Shabby Chic Cabinet

Beautiful crafted and custom made cabinet which was maybe used as a bar or a vanity – I am not sure. I could not find anything similiar online, neither I could determine the style. I would say it is Art Deco or Art Nouveau and is a completely customized piece. I found it at an Estate sale and it was part of an Antique store which had been closed.

All around the surface there are tiny metal pieces on the wood, probably glued, you can see them on the pictures as the small dark spots.
Price: $300
Measurement: 52 inches Height, 17 inches deep, 16 inches front doors height
I refinished it slightly but kept the antique, shabby accents. The iron part are refinished in bronze antique.

It is a very unique antique piece and is not existing a second time anywhere on this world. I like this part…

Hand painted tray with Asian design

I found the Chinese magnolia and the bird in a Chinese book and thought this is a great design for the tray I wanted to paint.

The tray is very simple and I bought it at IKEA for less. It is made out of wood which is a great surface to paint on. I decided to use oil paint. See below the tray before I painted it.
