Hand Painted Flowers Patio Table

The patio tables are made out of travertine, and I was asked to hand paint them with romantic, old fashioned flowers as you can see on furniture. After painting them I distressed them a bit to make them look antique.

Floral Stencil on a Velvet Designer Wall Finish

If you cannot feel this wall finish, you miss the whole effect. It is a special wall finish, almost like Plaster, which feels like velvet. It looks a bit like Venetian Plaster, a bit shiny because it will be applied with a trowel. The wall needs to be ultra smooth, and 2 special coats create this unique finish.

My client wanted a floral stencil added in all four corner of the dining room ceiling. It looks very sophisticated, this ceiling mural. Want a similiar finish? Call 818-470 2932.

Decorating Ideas for Your Girl’s Room

Do you have a girly girl? I mean a girl who loves pink forever, and all attributes connected with it?
If so, you might like the French design for your girl’s room, which I want to show to you.
For this mural I did for a 11 year old girl some time ago, we were chosing the typical French items, like the Eiffel tower, the French pink poodle or the French Set.
It is a cute decorating idea which you can do yourself or by hiring a mural painter.

Add a Paris Theme
The Eiffel tower is a traditional Parisian landmark and should not be missing in this conecpt. We placed it next to the bed.
Over the bed I painted the French Set: facial powder with a brush, nail varnish and a lipstick, surrounded by whimsical roses and whirls.

Add Pink
The Girl’s French room has many elements and a dominating color is pink. A poodle was absolutely a must.
On one wall I painted a bag with the famous “o-la-la” poodle theme. The background: Around the bag whimsical roses and whirls in charcoal black.

Bon jour and Mon ami!
Over the wardrobe we decided to have some typical French phrases and “Bonjour mon ami” which means “Hi, my friend”, seemed to match the whole theme.

Hand painted tray with Asian design

I found the Chinese magnolia and the bird in a Chinese book and thought this is a great design for the tray I wanted to paint.

The tray is very simple and I bought it at IKEA for less. It is made out of wood which is a great surface to paint on. I decided to use oil paint. See below the tray before I painted it.
